Lately, I have found myself drawn to instrumental bands quite a bit, recently buying Jens Haugen’s Over Terskler and Humcrush’s Hornswoggle off of iTunes and being impressed by them. As impressive is this Russian ensemble called Disen Gage. Their sound precariously walks on the line of progressive jazz and experimental cacophony with splendid results. It is organized disorder-wild guitar leads, odd drummer, and heavy bass. It is full of energy and manages to be reminiscent of Ozrics and Pink Floyd without being either. Enliven your listening pleasure with Disen Gage!
