The Progressive Ears web site attempts to display times, such as the time a message was posted as your local time, regardless of where in the world the message was posted. To do this, the site automatically detects which time zone you are in and adjusts times displayed on the site to reflect your local time. In order for the P. E. site to detect your time zone, you must have Javascript enabled in your browser. If you have diabled Javascript, many things on this web site besides the display of times may not work properly. To learn how to enable Javascript in your browser, click here.

If times displayed on Progressive Ears don't seem to reflect your local time, the most likely cause is that your computer is configured with the wrong time zone. Your computer may be set to the correct time and still be in the wrong time zone. The following paragraphs describe how to set both your time and your time zone. For purposes of this web site, it doesn't really matter whether your computer's time is set correctly. But it is very important that you set your time zone correctly in order to have times displayed on the web site reflect your local time.
